Sr FP&A Staff Manager
Financial Planning and Analysis

This role will help lead the business through both short & long-term strategic financial planning & analysis by partnering with leaders across functions (including Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal and Channels) to develop robust, dynamic, and scalable models that can be quickly adapted & updated based on the strategic direction of the organization.
This role will partner closely with GE Digital leadership and the Finance organization to integrate and develop processes that meet the business’ needs across the global organization, manage complex issues within Finance, and support investor relations needs.
In this role you will:
Develop a deep understanding of all critical aspects of the business model including the infrastructure, platform, and applications as well as the go-to-market strategies
Continuously benchmark various aspects of the business vs. key competitors
Keep a close pulse on industry trends and changes in technologies, competitive landscape and markets
Develop and/or enhance existing financial models to enable robust & dynamic financial planning on a rolling basis
Drive enhanced visibility into business model dynamics (e.g. product maturity curves) & share financial insights with management
Expand current financial planning capabilities into new/adjacent areas
Co-ordinate and oversee in-depth market & competitive analysis across business fields, regions and customer segments in a structured manner
Partner with Office of the CIO to define, measure, analyze and influence leading indicators & drive new insights within FP&A team
Drive enhanced process rigor & standardization across key financial processes
Partner with FP&A & Commercial Finance team to seamlessly integrate models & insights into other financial processes within GE Digital
Partner with Virtual P&L Leader to drive evolution of finance capabilities within business digital teams
Present results to senior management on a regular basis
Proactively work to identify, assess and manage financial risk
Assist FP&A Leader with management of Investor Relations needs including FAQs, competitive benchmarking, business model analysis, financial outlook, and more
Bachelor's degree CA from an accredited university or college
Minimum 5 years’ relevant finance experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office products

FMP / EFLP / CAS
MBA or CPA from an accredited university or college
Prior experience working in a technology environment
Experience with large multi-national firm
Proven management and organizational experience, including coordinating multiple people / projects simultaneously
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong "presence"- ability to influence peers and leadership team
Experience with Oracle, SAP and Hyperion
