Sr Finance Mgr-Applications is responsible for providing finance leadership for GE Digital Applications teams responsible for software engineering and development. This role will lead finance processes that support organization’s goal of delivering high quality software applications focused on delivering customer value. The role will partner with the Engineering, Architecture, QA, Adoption & Enablement, PMO, and UI/UX teams to manage NPI program investments while meeting committed dates.
In addition, the role will support Applications leadership on key financial decision making for NPI investment and help develop processes and controls that meet business needs across the global Applications organization, including:
Create product development funding models and provide analysis to assist engineering and product management leadership in making trade-off decisions (cost, time, features) across multiple products.
Implement and maintain financial metrics (KPIs) to monitor key product development programs and initiatives against financial commitments.
Build and maintain R&D cost controls across development teams.
Validate and optimize cost-to-serve metrics for key customers given product and infrastructure costs.
Work closely with finance leaders from Platform (Predix) and Commercial teams to provide finance support for key customer and product initiatives.
Ensure co-development software engineering development and internal support costs are fully liquidated.
Provide support to software development leaders, including base cost analysis, financial planning and forecasting.
Support finance simplification projects and process enhancements. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum 5+ years’ relevant finance experienceEligibility Requirements

Experience with large multi-national firm
Proven project management experience, including coordinating multiple people / projects simultaneously
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated analytical and modeling capabilities
Experience with Oracle, SAP and Hyperion
