Role Summary/Purpose

Ensure customers success, satisfaction, and self-sufficiency by fostering a balanced relationship that benefits both GE and the parts/ time and material service customer with the goals of maintaining/growing our client reference base; assists with identification of revenue opportunities by focusing on non-contract service sales and identifying areas where our services can improve process and have a clear ROI; facilitate, support, and properly assess the customers’ needs.

Essential Responsibilities

Drive Non-Contract Growth by:

•Prioritize selling time to build and maintain a balanced funnel of sales prospects to generate sales, achieve account penetration and drive market share growth.

•Act as primary salesperson for tactical sales opportunities by working directly with prospective customers to build value for our offerings, present proposals, negotiate and secure the order, working through both GE’s internal sales and the external customers purchase processes.

•Maintain/earn customer loyalty by providing best in class customer service to all GE Healthcare customers. Promote customer satisfaction by working with install and support organizations to resolve customer related sales issues. Record customer feedback and complaint information through the proper quality processes and channels.

•Support and partner with Directors of Service, zone field sales, and service personnel in their efforts to sell tactical and strategic offerings and maximize account penetration by identifying sales prospects, developing targeted account strategies, providing account/product information, participating in internal/customer meetings, developing proposals and providing account follow up.

•Drive targeted marketing campaigns and follow up on Telemarketing

•Maintain thorough current and competitive product knowledge and clear understanding of market dynamics in order to offer creative solutions to customers. Understand basic functions, features and benefits with the ability to communicate them to customers.

•Assist in the development of the Disposables and Accessories market for the Field Engineers.

Quality Specific Goals:

  1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

  2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

  3. Identify and report any and all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.

  4. Identify and report any personal quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.

  5. Ensure timely dispatch closure.

  6. Ensure completion of all field modifications instructions (FMI’s) within prescribed timeframe.

  7. Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process.

Qualifications/Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree required (or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years experience as service

technical engineer in the Healthcare industry

-Minimum 3 years sales or technical experience

-Strong listening skills

-Strong problem solving skills

-Ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence

-Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
