The physician services manager will use your physician practice experience in a consulting environment, working with our clients to create high performing physician enterprises. Managers have the opportunity to assist and lead pre-implementation, implementation, and post implementation work.
1.Manages project teams to achieve Company initiatives of low to moderate
2.Utilizes standardized processes, tools, methodologies, modeling techniques and presentation templates and develops new tools as necessary to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the firm’s work product.
Conducts assessments of clients’ existing physician enterprise strategy, structure, and operations; develops recommendations for improvement; frequently responsible for implementation of identified improvements
Develops work plans under direction of project leader and prepares project schedules and budgets consistent with engagement scope
5.Reports status regularly and escalates issues as appropriate to project leader
6.Prepares written documents and conclusions of analysis with a limited amount of supervision required.
7.Communicates effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with clients and other organizations.
8.Identifies/Generates add-on work with existing clients
9.Conducts formal and informal presentations to project team and clients.
10.Works with Sr. Managers and Vice Presidents to promote effective team dynamics and provide performance feedback.
Broad knowledge of health care
3-4 years operating physician practices, advising provider(s) / staff in areas of practice and business management, to maximize patient care and service, and to direct efficient and profitable operations of the practice.
3-5 years experience in consulting or related field
Ability to travel 70 %
Knowledge in scheduling efficiency and patient flow in a medical practice.
Leadership capabilities as well as ability to be effective team player
Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret qualitative and quantitative analysis and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal presentation and communications skills
Ability to work well with individuals in all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, independent judgment and be a self-starter
Ability to operate PC-based software including MS Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint
A 'Can-Do" attitude, showing initiative and willingness to adapt to change.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle delicate and possible stressful situations
Ability to manage issues of a confidential nature.
Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word
Demonstrates organizational skills.
Ability to facilitate between physician operations, leadership and physicians
