The Rivalta Product Quality & Laboratories Leader will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
In this role you will:
Provide leadership for organization Quality and Technical activities.
Direct generic process / product improvement programs and provide process method excellence throughout the organization.
Lead technical efforts in inventory control, manufacturing losses, and overall shop costs.
Provide the technical leadership on problem identification and resolution on all problems.
Select, hire, train, and provide ongoing leadership of assigned personnel to meet schedules, quality and measurements, and organizational goals.
Manage generic manufacturing process programs and lead area in pursuit of state of the art technology and processes that will enhance organization's productivity.
Manage organization's cost superiority and investment program.
Compile and report all organization measurements on quality and cost.
Interface with design engineering, projects, assembly, and vendors to assure requirements are met on time meeting specifications.
Promote a working environment to achieve excellence in productivity, customer service, quality, and EHS.
Drive initiatives to maximize employee contribution and drive improvements in product quality and services.
Ensure all Services support functions at facility are staffed and well trained to perform their duties effectively.
Lead the effort to develop and implement plans to meet customers' requirements for product quality, cost and delivery.
Manage the Rivalta Product Quality & Laboratories within the operating budget.
Responsible for the day-to-day Rivalta quality & lab operations.
Drive growth and change in a fast-moving, high-energy environment.
Promote the use of six-sigma methodology in driving plant quality improvements.
Bachelor's engineering degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering.
Significant experience in a quality control, improvement, or engineering role that provides leadership to cross-functional teams in the quality / process improvement environment. Production experience as an alternative.
Proven leadership and team-building skills.
Fluent in both Italian and English.
EU work permit.
Knowledge of machining / fabricating and/or assembly and test processes.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Proven analytical abilities.
Lean six sigma experience (GB or BB)
