The Program Manager has a natural ability to aggregate and drive collaboration to ensure the best management of the program, in order to meet Company’s targets and identify as well as mitigate financial and operating risks. He/She is Customer Advocate and has a comprehensive knowledge of contract and program management, financial & econ. topics, legal Terms & Conditions, best practices, Company processes & procedures with special focus on Quality, Quality System, Supply Chain, Engineering.

Being a single customer focal point for the program and developing a long-lasting Customers relationship based on mutual trust, as a foundation for a strong collaboration on current programs and identification of new business opportunities;
Owning Program economics (revenues, contribution margin) and credit collection (including recovery of Past due) along the whole product “life-cycle”;
On NPI: setting and executing on an overall Program Schedule identifying key milestones, “critical-path”, recovery plans and measuring progresses in terms of efficiency and effectiveness;
Leading program risk management;
Interacting with GSC (Fulfillment, Production Control, Sourcing) in order to agree production plans and tracking progresses against targeted plans;
Driving collaboration with all the involved teams, Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality, Finance, Legal, Commercial and Sales;
Updating business plans according to new scenarios and new opportunity / risk in strong collaboration with Finance and Commercial Teams;
Supporting effectively the finalization of negotiation with the Customer in collaboration with Legal and Commercial Teams.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Aerospace or Mechanical as a plus);
Previous experience in the Aviation industry;
Solid experience in Program Management or equivalent coordination role;
Significant background in business plan and contract management;
Previous experience in Engineering and/or Manufacturing and/or Quality;
Orientation to Customer;
Sense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasks;
Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage and drive accountability in cross functional teams;
Fluent written and spoken Italian and English;
Knowledge of office automation, SAP, program planning systems (Project or equivalent);
EU work permit.
Familiarity with Aviation Products and in particular with mechanical transmission (gearboxes) and Low Pressure Turbine for aviation engines;
Knowledge of both Civil and Military Customers;
Problem Solving skills;
Strong oral and written communication skills;
Six Sigma training;
