Role Summary:

Demonstrate leadership in communicating & executing strategic goals, inc product cost out, on-time delivery, logistics, New Product Initiative (NPI) & localisation. Lead all sourcing initiatives & high impact priorities & drive growth.

Essential Responsibilities:

You will use your experience/expertise to solve problems, develop & execute sourcing priorities & work in partnership with wind sourcing & supply chain global/region teams, work in close collaboration & partnership with projects, services, sales, com-ops, product & engineering teams.

o Understand business strategies for assigned projects and proactively drive initiatives to meet sourcing objectives.

o Drive Cost Out initiatives through cross- functional team for the region.

o Ensure on time fulfillment by working closely with the Inquiry To Order (ITO) team, Projects team, Buying, Supplier Quality, manufacturing team & suppliers to meet the customer project requirements.

o Drive Growth Project initiatives to enhance entitlement growth

o Drive productivity opportunities with supply base to deliver cost out goals

o Partner with Component Teams to build should cost models for the region, taking into account Total Cost of Ownership (including all logistic costs) and support should cost based negotiations with suppliers by the Global Commodity Leader.

o Support RFQ process for the region to challenge current supply options using inputs from the Logistics team on out- bound logistics costs to deliver the lowest total delivered cost.

o Assess supplier capabilities and make recommendations on supplier acceptability

o Partner with Sourcing Quality to identify and qualify new suppliers for localization & Cost Out opportunities

o Implement sourcing standards including process & execution, synergies for Cost Out & drive sourcing metric and negotiate Supply Agreements / T&C with Suppliers.

o Partner with Commercial Operation, Engineering & Projects to set up Logistics execution strategies for the region & executing on them.

o Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and reputation requirements

o Partner with Global Component teams , Product, Finance to develop Cost handbook for the region


o Bachelor of Engineering with over 10 years of experience in Sourcing.

o Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, with ability to influence at all levels of the organization

o Strong quantitative and analytical skills

o Strong PC and database management skills, including MS Office

o Fluent in English
