Role Summary/Purpose

This program is for people who have passion for technology and drive for technical excellence. The rotation is intended to provide a broad exposure to aviation turbine engine systems. It is designed to accelerate your professional development through technical on the job training and a variety of business-critical assignments in Airworthiness&Certification area. Further, it will help you to deliver higher quality results in your daily work and enhance your knowledge outside your current scope.

Essential Responsibilities

You will be responsible for execution of assigned tasks, with guidance from experienced personnel, in areas related to airworthiness of aircraft engines. This program membership also requires continuous education through self-studies and in-house courses. After completing this Bubble assignment you will gain further technical foundation which will enrich your expertize and help you to be more effective and drive the right decision. The Bubble assignment tasks may include work both the H series / M601 as well the new ATP engine. Responsibilities will vary by assigned tasks, but some examples may include:

  • Plan and perform assigned projects within the framework of Airworthiness & Certification area;

  • Demonstrate ability to understand and apply engineering fundamentals in the working environment;

  • Collaborate with manager or team leader in setting realistic and challenging goals;

  • Develop understanding of relationship with Aviation Authorities;

  • Collaborate with global teams;

  • Support the management of the Airworthiness aspects of Certification programs;

  • Support the maintenance of an up to date DOH (including associated procedures) and the EASA Part 21 approval;

  • Ensure design changes and non-conformance are in accordance with the regulations and processed in a timely manner;

  • Effectively communicates and provide recommendations through the analysis, preparation and presentation of technical data to internal and external GE customers using Service Bulletins, or other appropriate documentation;

  • Communicate with European Airworthiness Authorities

and the US based ODA.


  • Bachelor/Master of Science in Engineering (or equivalent in knowledge/experience);

  • Demonstrated GE Engineering experience;

  • Solid understanding of engineering and/or manufacturing fundamentals;

  • Fluency in English;

  • Must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role’s location.
