As a Services Specialist, you will work closely with customers understand and define requirements, develop technical proposals, and set expectations for complex implementation projects. You will act as an individual contributor on these engagements, contributing to software architecture design, development of software applications, and integration into enterprise system.
Provide expert knowledge and experience to estimate the technical effort required to implement complex ServiceMax solutions.
Contribute to high level technical analysis activities, such as requirements gathering and gap analysis of user requirements.
Contribute to the definition of ServiceMax solution architectures and development of detailed design specifications.
Contribute to the implementation of ServiceMax solutions.
Own technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of the projects.
Engage throughout the full lifecycle of assigned projects, participating in decisions on architecture, design, and functionality to keep programs on track in terms of budget, time, and customer expectations.
Effectively leverage product capability, driving standardization, limiting customization, and maximizing reuse of content developed for previous solutions.
Interact with Product Development Team, Commercial Team, Customers, Solution Providers (Partner / Integrators), and other cross-functional teams as required for the solution.
Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with peers and team members as an inclusive team member, supporting pre-sale strategy, services consulting efforts, and project execution.
Effectively apply the ServiceMax methodology and project standards.
Maintain & continuously update technical skills and knowledge.
Work independently as well as part of the team. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Minimum 3 years of experience in software services for product development functions OR at least 2 years of experience in an accelerated program in a technical fieldEligibility Requirements:

Must be willing to travel 35%
Must be willing to work out of an office located in Pleasanton, CA Desired Characteristics:
Experience leading software implementations with one or more Customer Relationship Management Solution (such as Oracle, SalesForce.com, SAP, Siebel or other CRM software). Configuration experience desired
Salesforce Certifications: Administration Essentials for New Admins (ADM 201) or Platform App Builder Certification (DEV 401)
Can recognize when code would be required instead of configuration
Experience with field service operations or management, including experience with customer service management and call center support a big plus
Solid understanding of software operating systems and ability to work comfortably with software engineers
Demonstrated ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast-paced, multi-tasking development environment
