The Winder Transformer II repairs, rebuilds, rewinds and tests equipment such as transformers, regulators, circuit breakers, reactors and compensators.
As the Winder Transformer II, you will:
Repair and rebuild equipment
Rewind and test equipment such as transformers, regulators, circuit breakers, reactors, and compensators
Performs other related duties as assigned
High School Diploma / GED
Minimum of 10 years of experience winding Helical and Disc type transformers for low and high voltage
Ability and willingness to read and interpret winding connection drawings
Ability and willingness to travel and complete overnight stays, as required
Ability and willingness to work overtime, various shifts, holidays and weekends
Ability and willingness to travel to job sites
Braze and Induction connection experience for winding coils
Good Mechanical skills a must
Self-starter able to work with minimal direction
Willingly accepts job challenges.
Have experience with Health and Safety programs
Experience winding field coils
Good Mechanical skills a must
