Role Summary/Purpose

The Parts Account Manager is responsible for delivering parts orders and commitment plans. Leading customer relationships and securing business across the entire Power Services portfolio for an assigned customer portfolio in the Nordic region. This position can either be located in Sweden (Norrköping or Västerås) or Finland (Helsinki).

Essential Responsibilities

Responsible for parts orders, commitments and convertible orders for the customer portfolio across all product portfolios. They will manage the customer relationship for their accounts in their respective region. Lead deal negotiations & closure with customers, partnering with account manager, commercial operations & product sales leaders. Develop winning strategies, to achieve order plan and closure.

This role will partner with the Regional Product Marketing teams to understand the customer environment in the country and support the development of account strategies focused on longer term SAS expansion and penetration.

Parts Account Manager, will be responsible mainly for all product categories including Steam, Gas, Generator, AQCS, Boilers and Industrials.

In addition, this role will:

  • Work with Product Centers and Parts Fulfillment to optimize capture of all capital and flow parts.

  • Interface and support account managers on parts.

  • Support the maintenance of accurate and current project and opportunity information in Salesforce.com

  • Drive discovery session data to achieve winning solutions for customers

  • Develop long term strategic plans by customer to drive penetration and growth

  • Continuously monitor and drive the development of the opportunity pipeline for regional opportunities

  • Own a coordinated ‘one face to the customer’ across the products and develop & own their account plans.

  • Manage cross functional teams to execute bids and multi-year agreements building towards orders and commitment plans.

  • Travel will be required across North European Region.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven track record of deal/order delivery

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business from an accredited university or college

  • Strong years of experience in industry-related engineering, sales and/or marketing including minimum significant years in a customer-facing role

  • Broad and deep understanding of the commercial cycle – including product line/marketing/sales/commercial operations/engineering/parts fulfillment

  • Strong account management skills, including developing relationships at the C-suite level; financial & analytical skills & strategic planning capabilities

  • Long-term business mindset

  • Strong presentation skills at the executive level

  • Customer, service and “solutions” mindset

  • Experience of GE’s, ECLP or CLP is an advantage

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and Swedish and/or Finnish.

  • Any other North European language would be a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
