Role Summary/Purpose

Roles will typically be aligned to specific businesses or sectors. Individuals will generally either be located at, and only support, a specific site or project or have a role that requires specific industry/business expertise or interaction with specific business customers. Includes EHS professionals involved in “designing for EHS” , individuals responsible for customer or industry engagement, and EHS professionals working at customer sites or projects.

Essential Responsibilities

Individuals to whom the front-line service people report.

They help the front-line people in the business resolve issues with customers and liaise with the regional Operations, EHS and other managers.

A strong percentage of their jobs is dedicated to direct oversight of front line service people and the balance of their role is managing regional service issues.

In the GE model, most of these individuals will be in the shared service with dotted line relationships to the EHS leader of their business.

Expected to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent.

Works together with people from the business unit. Contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards specifying activities, planning of activities and giving explanations on technical issues.

Presents to internal teams on metrics, project status and other EHS activities.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with at least 4 years of experience in Environment,

Health & Safety developed in Pressure Control & Fracking (Oil & Gas Industry)

Desired Characteristics

Gensuite usage strongly desired (only for internal candidates)

Electro submergible pumps, Radioactive sources and explosives EHS knowledge a plus

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Ability to work independently.

Strong problem solving skills.
