Role Summary/Purpose

This position is the Production Supervisor (also known as "Coach") for our GE Aviation Madisonville, KY site. This position leads a team of hourly production employees on the 3rd shift.

Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Positions requiring understanding of Supply Chain operations concepts, methods and procedures.

Essential Responsibilities

In addition you will :

  • Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees

  • Typically managing hourly employee populations

  • Expected to resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent

  • Works together with people from the business unit


  • Communicates with direct team and supervisor

  • Presents to internal teams on metrics, project status and research

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)

The GE Aviation plant in Madisonville, Kentucky, is a Turbine Airfoils plant that supports GE Aviation by manufacturing high pressure turbine airfoils (blades and vanes).
