Role Summary/Purpose

The T408 Product Support Leader demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the CH-53K and CH-47 flight test programs and leading T408 integrated logistic support (ILS) development.

Essential Responsibilities

In addition, you will :

  • Develop processes that meet business needs across the organization

  • Manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise

  • Be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy

  • Interface with GE, Sikorsky, and NAVAIR in support of the CH-53K flight test and integrated logistic support items

  • Interface with GE, Boeing, and Army in support of the CH-47 Demo flight test

  • Be responsible for product support engineering processes

  • Initiate and drive projects to assure continuous improvement

  • Maintain the highest level of integrity and ethics in all dealings with both internal & external customers and suppliers

  • Identify, recommend, and implement tools and procedures to increase the departmental efficiency related to support

  • Lead team to fulfill NPI tollgate product support requirements

  • Plan, Schedule, and manage engineering activities and budgets to meet ILS deliverables

  • Be responsible for multi-discipline project engineering coordination with responsibility for engineering activities required for successful project completion

  • Develop project scope and determine resources required for future ILS related programs

  • Support the development and execution of long-term support strategies

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in ILS development and / or fulfillment

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a multi-discipline project engineering coordination role

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :

  • Willingness and ability to travel

  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Knowledge of GE products and services is preferred
