Role Summary/Purpose

The Senior Engineer CTH - Mechanical Component will be a technical authority for safety relief and pressure relief valves providing technical expertise, problem solving and mentoring.

Essential Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Engineer CTH - Mechanical Component, you will:

  • Be a recognized expert for safety and pressure relief valves with a proven track record of success in valve design

  • Provide technical consultation to cross functional teams throughout the product life cycle from new product development to obsolescence

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance for design reviews, valve design improvements, RCAs and industrial committees as necessary.

  • Continue to remain cognizant of state-of-the-art technologies in safety relief and pressure relief valves

  • Anticipate, apply or adopt state-of-the-art technologies in safety relief and pressure relief valves for new product introductions, product performance improvements or problem resolution to meet current and future customer needs

  • Prepare and support invention disclosures to protect company technology advantage and company intellectual property rights

  • Mentor and provide guidance to new and experienced engineering people and disseminate lessons learned across the engineering organization

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in an engineering capacity
