Jacksonville Products …think outside the engine. As a Special Molding Process Operator, you will mix impregnation compounds, Pre-tin, stack fixtures, bake, vacuum dry and impregnate components. This 2nd shift position will train on 1st shift for approximately 6 months.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Role Summary:
Work from specifications, prints, layouts, route or process sheets and instructions
Use of hand tools (i.e., viscometer, thermometer, mixer, solder pot, fixtures, plates, oven, impregnation chambers and vernier scale, capacitor press)
Mix impregnation compounds following formulas, logging data as required, checking viscosity and temperature of the compound to ensure compliance with specifications
Pre-tin, stack fixtures, bake, vacuum dry and impregnate components as required
Unload fixtures and clean components
Clean impregnation tanks with solvents as required
Check work at prescribed intervals to ensure compliance with operating standards
Essential Responsibilities
In addition, you will:
Operating machinery part time (setting up machine to run and while it is running through its cycle (several hours), perform other functions necessary to the department.
Follow directions and read work instructions
Qualifications/Requirements
Actively participate in a teaming environment that uses lean and 5S practices to improve products and processes
Basic computer skills
Basic math skills
Basic ERP skills
Basic written and verbal communications skills
Must wear steel toe shoes

Ability to frequently lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 40 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
Ability to work with hazardous materials and in an environment with fumes and chemicals
High School diploma or GED
