EHS Site Manager

The EHS Site Manager will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role, you will utilize experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. This role will expand to a broader coordination activities of other Repair Shop site regionally distributed.
Scope will be to assure common process, lesson learned and best practice sharing, concern responsiveness & shared training strategy management
In the role of EHS Site Manager, you will:
Develop new Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs as required
Lead the validation of health, safety and environmental Frameworks to ensure 100% compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements
Drive improvements in site EHS culture, awareness, and accountability
Lead efforts to operationalize EHS at site
Ensure site personnel understand and comply with all environmental permits
Plan and conduct EHS training
Oversee compliance assurance program, perform site audits, and lead efforts with management
team to implement corrective actions
Conduct incident / accident investigations and develop corrective and preventative action plans
Maintain EHS expertise to provide technical and regulatory support to Operations team
Maintain site EHS metrics and work cooperatively with EHS HQ on various projects and initiatives, including GHG reduction, sustainability, and culture change
Complete Six Sigma projects to reduce defects and cost
Act as primary liaison with regulatory agencies concerning all EHS issues
Understand regulatory changes and trends and forecast site impacts
Actively contribute to the direction and content of site EHS programs
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (OR high school diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution and a minimum of 7 years of experience in safety, compliance or environmental programs with EHS systems)
Minimum 3 years of experience in safety, compliance or environmental programs with EHS Systems
- Ability and willingness to travel abroad 10% of the time
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health or Environmental Science from an accredited university or college
EHS experience in manufacturing
Experience managing environmental permits and culture change
Knowledge of OSHA, RCRA, CAA, NPDES, TSCA, CWA, and DOT regulations
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Six Sigma training
Ability to lead process implementation in a team environment
