I.T Integration & Upgrade Engineer
Location(s) Where Opening Is Available United Kingdom
Deliver levels of implementation service to our Healthcare IT clients across the UK and Ireland through ownership and management of Installation and Upgrade jobs scheduled by the Technical Specialist Group Manager, including technical review, supporting project planning, the actual implementation and agreed handover to Service Support for monitoring activities.
System design and delivery including consulting and advising customers.
Providing technical expertise (mentoring and monitoring support as required) to standard and complex implementations.
Provide technical IT expertise on migration for all of GE HCIT's High Acuity and other specialty product ranges.
Maintain close working relationships with European counterparts, ensuring prioritisation of issues that cannot be resolved by the local team.
Ensure levels of documentation are complete for the Service Support teams to manage the environment handed over to them.
Ensure that the customer expectations are met or exceeded in delivery of contracted obligations from a technical implementation perspective.
Ensure consistent performance to internal KPIs targets or to exceed performance.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Core platforms (Windows Server, SQL Server, VMWare)
SQL Server administration skills
SQL Transact (the ability to read, understand and create SQL scripts including stored procedures).
SSAS and SSIS.
Reporting software knowledge - eg. Crystal Reports, Business Objects.
Identity Management: LDAP, Active Directory, Domain Management.
Experience dealing with complex data sets.
