Role Summary/Purpose

This role will lead the planning of competitive transactional outages across the region in order to provide a market-leading offering to existing and potential customers. You will be accountable for delivering continuous improvement in the areas of customer satisfaction, cost and down-time. This multi-dimensional leadership role will have significant business impact and the potential to make a meaningful contribution to the bottom-line.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Close partnership with the PS Sales team and customers to understand technical requirements & commercial priorities

  • Prepare outage offer, ensuring competitiveness in relation to scope, resourcing, timing and cost

  • Deliver tangible improvements within the transactional Boiler portfolio in the following key performance indicators: EHS, Quality, On-time delivery, Cost, Productivity

  • Partner with Boiler Outage Planning team to ensure feedback loop to drive continuous improvement and provide inputs to key planning and review processes

  • Partner with sourcing, sub region team, and Affiliate to drive outage cost elements reduction.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent knowledge/experience) in a technical field

  • Proven leadership skills

  • Extensive experience on Boiler and AQCS products

  • Significant experience in field services, engineering or operations and a sound understanding of how outages work and what makes them successful

  • Commercial mindset with demonstrated success in identifying opportunities and winning stakeholder support for implementation

  • Strong customer orientation and determination to deliver a competitive outage offer every time

  • Strong track record as a leader of successful teams, including performance management & development

  • Ability to energize teams and influence them to view change as an opportunity

  • Technical knowledge and understanding relevant to the product and its maintenance

  • Excellent planning and project management skills and fully conversant with related methodologies and tools. Proactive in risk management & compliance matters

  • Proven ability to effectively manage a large cost base

  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and verbal & written communication skills, including fluency in English

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and process skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse and highly matrixed environment

  • Willingness to travel
