Customer Program Manager – Deutsche Bahn (m/f)
Location(s) Where Opening Is Available Germany
You will be responsible for working directly with the customer on implementation and management of Asset Analytics solutions targeted at our global customer base market within GE Transportation Digital, Customer Performance Analytics team.
You will be responsible for client relationship building, account setup, and up-front implementation of contracted technical and service delivery solutions, to achieve specified performance and financial objectives. The Program Manager is the key GE management delivery representative responsible for making sure that the solution being designed and implemented meets the agreed upon business and contract objectives. You will engage customers at mid-level and technical levels and internally with software engineering and development leads to outline the project deliverables, cost/revenue forecast and execution strategy. You will be accountable for driving successful delivery of product launch.
Additionally, you will:
Provide vision and strategy, oversight, and holistic systems integration program management for the complete customer-level account
Oversee client relationship building, account/ financial setup, and up-front implementation of contracted technical and service delivery solutions to achieve specified performance and financial objectives
Manage the completion and subsequent execution of the holistic Digital program plan and is accountable for program cost, schedule, and delivery quality
Work with multiple GE delivery Teams, outside partners, offshore teams, and subcontractors to establish and manage an effective Program team
Own regular and timely communication with all GE and client stakeholders on the status of all Digital programsIn addition, you will:
Establish & Manage success plan; Clarify project timing, deliverables; Create detailed program plan and drive execution to ensure on-time & on-budget performance; Identify risks, implement abatement plans; Follow GET NTI/Tollgate/NPI/FW etc. processes.
Effectively prioritize efforts; Focus team on most critical tasks; Identify, remove obstacles and barriers; Keep leadership informed and elevate solutions to challenges in a timely fashion
Responsible for defining and managing requirements and roadmap schedule deliver for a portfolio of products, and be the product contract execution expert
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or Business.
Significant project, program and/or product management experience
Significant transportation/rail industry experience
Willingness to travel to up to 20% of your time both inside/outside to support customer discovery, requirements sessions and program/project status updates
Must be fluent speaking in German
Ability to communicate both verbal and written in English is desirable
Program and/or Project Management credentials (e.g. Project Management Professional PMP certification)
Understanding of the agile software development and deployment process
Experience delivering multiple phased complex system solutions Business Acumen:
Strong business analysis, problem solving, project management and strategy development skills
Large-scale project/ program management of multi-discipline teams, including strong management and communications skills, service delivery, client relations, planning, scheduling, budgeting, financial management and earned value, resource management, QA, negotiations, contract negotiation and management
Business development and proposal presentation experience – shaping value propositions with clients, crafting solutions, and driving proposals including Statement of Work.Leadership:
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to help build effective processes
Proactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking and analytical skills and best practices
Able to re-appropriate existing solutions to new requirements and situations
