Sr Manufacturing Staff Manager - Operation Management

U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces
Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Department shares knowledge acquired in concrete projects.
In the role of Sr Manufacturing Staff Manager - Operation Management you will:
Manage an operation, business, unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety
Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards
Team management of salaried employees. This does include production supervisors who oversee hourly employees
Develop and lead execution of productivity, continuous improvement, and growth project plan for plant product lines
Give input to business programs of an encompassing part of a function or a business unit and to midterm plan
Coach and mentor team members. Respond immediately to the needs and concerns of employees providing them with the tools and facilities required to perform their jobs properly
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum 5 years of experience in Operation Management
Additional Eligibility Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Materials and Logistics, Operations Management or Engineering from an accredited college or university
Prior experience utilizing planning systems (Oracle / SAP)
Ability to lead in a matrix organization
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
Established project management skills
