Role Summary/Purpose

Product Manager for GLO (Locomotives) for Latam market, responsible for develop, build and identify the best product and solution for our customers in this region. The In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, be involved in long-term product planning, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contribute to the overall locomotive business strategy.

Essential Responsibilities

Market understanding, mapping and segmentation for product strategy in the region (aligned with global strategy).

Work with Sales team to promote the successful sale of Locomotives for Latam customers (ownership of locomotives orders as per IOP plan)

Meet the business metrics for Standard Product Cost out projects

Responsible for Locomotives Value - CM and price in order to be competitive and demonstrate value on the product. (define CM and price on deal reviews based on market segmentation, competitive analysis and product value proposition)

Track and provide report out on specific business metrics established by management

Help develop a process to refine the written proposal process assuring accuracy of proposals prior to submitting to customers

Work with Program Management team to assure clear hand off of new projects to their execution team

Work with reliability team to support product launch and customer requests.


Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preference Electrical, Mechanical and Production).

Solid experience on Locomotive, Mining, Heavy Machinery, Aviation, Power or Oil & Gas market - sales, engineering or services

Great Product management experience or similar (marketing analysis, product knowledge, technical/commercial project management)

Influencing skills, good communication skills and clear thinker.

Fluent English
