Lead Manufacturing Specialist 1 - Material Plan & Execution
Materials and Production Planning
Location(s) Where Opening Is Available United States
U.S. State, China or Canada Provinces
Purpose of this role is to focus on material planning processes and improve productivity, efficiency utilizing lean and six sigma tools. The Material Planner will demonstrate accountability for functional, business objectives, you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area(s) of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.
The Material Planning Process owner will develop practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role, you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
In addition you will :
Gain expertise in Utilizing Oracle ERP data to identify process defects
Lead Special projects across functional groups to implement RCCAs
Drive process improvements / enhancements to the overall process
Lead Systems Materials BCC process (Business Control Center)
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Materials Planning, Sourcing and/or Supply Chain Operations
