Role Summary/Purpose

1- Role summary/purpose

The Field Engineer Control TA is the on-site focal point with the GE and customer for all the technical issues , being the key interface for all aspects of the contract. He/She will be responsible to ensure the smooth execution of contractual maintenance and site activities of the technical problem solving & trouble shooting.

Location – Morocco – Muhammedia Site

Essential Responsibilities

The Lead Field Engineer develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role you are responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.

• Technical interface with engineering PAC , RCA tec..

• Implementation of region strategy

• Developing of field service talent pipeline

• Resources Strategy, Programs and Methods

• Good skills in control system Mark 6

• Field Force Automation and Projects

• Event parts/repair planning

• Develop and build People and develop a strong execution pipe lines.

• Drive leading KPI’s and proactive operational metrics on EHS and Quality

• Partner with Quality and Process Excellence teams to drive continues improvement initiatives and process development

• Leverage best practices among countries & MEA region.

• Drive resolution of main OTR escalated issues, in coordination with support functions (i.e. quality, engineering, R&R, parts)

• Integrate with the other key members of the region leadership team to drive growth, strategic planning and financial excellence

• Practice human relations and communications skills in order to motivate the assigned work force

Qualifications/Requirements

· Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in a field service or maintenance position)

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

• Strong operational experience in power generation industry.

• Excellent technical knowledge of gas turbine generating technologies

• Experience interfacing with customers in a demanding environment

• Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Control system Mark 6

• Excellent technical knowledge of gas and steam turbine generating technologies
