Role Summary/Purpose

As a member of the Surface regional leadership team, the Surface Canada Regional Leader will be accountable for the growth of all Surface product lines in the region, and for operational integrity as it pertains to quality, environment, health & safety.

Essential Responsibilities

The Surface Canada Geomarket Regional Leader will be responsible for creating and executing the commercial and services strategies and ensuring on time delivery to customers. There will be a key focus on strategic planning & marketplace understanding, building profitable and growing customer relationships, driving the regional product development roadmap in coordination with the overall North American regional leadership, ‘Quality of Revenue’ management, profitable execution of regional service, and talent development.

In the role of Canada Geomarket Leader, you will:

• Define the vision for the Surface product company in the region with accountability for the region performance targets

• Provide leadership in developing/implementing plans, and actions to assure that GE wins profitable business

• Develop and drive execution of processes that ensure operational integrity related to quality, environment, health & safety

• Participate in sales and operations planning to ensure delivery to customers as well as maximizing return on invested capital while outgrowing the competition

• Be responsible for the strategic planning >1-3 Years Orders

• Develop the regional strategy to fill the talent pipeline and build a robust succession plan

• Lead the customer relationship management in the region

• Developing influential relationships with the customers in the region as well as identifying and executing on new customers at all levels

• Develop strategies to win profitable business from those customers, and aligning that with Account Executives when needed

• Develop the channels strategy

• Lead the Regional Team for growing regional relationships and and achieving profitable growth

• Develop and execute the services strategy with accountability for service orders

• Work at senior level both internally and externally, leveraging leadership, influence skills and expertise to ensure the right decisions are made

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university

• Minimum 8 years of leadership experience in leading Sales or Service teams

• Deep knowledge of the Oil & Gas Industry

• Strong interpersonal skills and able to lead a diverse team within a matrix organization

• Customer-centric mindset, able to translate customer issues/needs into profitable business solutions

• Effectively interface with all levels of internal stakeholders and external customers

• Effective oral and written communication in local language and in English

• Excellent presentation skills

• Strong analytical and statistical data driven skills

• Able to understand and translate customer needs into sales strategies & plans

• Strong communication skills and cross functional breadth to provide strong leadership and direction to product teams

• Able to energize teams at all levels of the organization and effectively balance multiple initiatives

• High energy, assertiveness, and self-motivated individual to work in a fast paced environment
