Role Summary/Purpose

The Sourcing Team Leader will lead and manage the O&G Indirect material team of buyers in Argentina in term of strategic and transactional operation assuring business deployment.

Essential Responsibilities

•Manage outsource buy desk resource to perform transactional activities such as vendor additional, AP resolution and PO creation.

•Supporting GE Argentina Oil & Gas indirect purchases and business operations by understanding stakeholders’ needs and communicating sourcing policy.

•Working closely with finance and compliance team to mitigate company’s compliance risk and resolving of payment issues.

•As a focal point of OG Argentina sourcing to lead the development & execution of the O&G sourcing strategies to drive cost saving projects by working closely with Global Ops Sourcing Commodity Leaders and cross biz sourcing leaders.

•You will be responsible to key KPI such as saving targets, productivity, B2P, O&G migration, compliance & iSave reporting.

•You will be responsibility for day to day indirect buying requirement for O&G Biz and vendor negotiation for various indirect sourcing categories and capital expenditures.

•Engage with Global Ops commodity team and finance to ensure saving s and spends are correctly captured in ISave tracker.

•Identify and implement best practices opportunities from sourcing perspective.

•Drive global projects collaborate with internal & external function to deliver on sourcing goals.

Qualifications/Requirements

•BS degree in engineering or Business Administration

• Fluent in English and Spanish, both oral and written.

•Sourcing skills and experience with hands on negotiation skills

•Unyielding compliance integrity and solid understanding of indirect Sourcing processes

•Excellent communication, negotiations, interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships and support internal customers

•Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization

•Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments

•Sound knowledge of indirect systems, such as Aravo, SAP and SSS.

•Strong change management and project management Skills

•Good team player and also can work independently under pressure and solve problems proactively.

•Maintains high level of ethics, quality, safety and environmental standards in all aspects of the business.
