Role Summary:

Electricity markets – critical IT systems – trading platform – near real-time applications.

The projects are executed within an international environment involving software development and implementation held in multi-sites and multi-countries.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Linux/Unix enthusiast in charge of business continuous monitoring, troubleshooting and configuration operating systems and Oracle databases driven applicationsReactive/Proactive on the ticketing system used by clients

  • Interact directly with customer and R&D during the troubleshooting/investigation of customer raised issues

  • Software applications configuration and installation

  • Software solutions customization

  • Databases installation and configuration

  • System/Software troubleshooting and issues investigation

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Strong experience on customer support, infrastructure/Unix administration with a hands-on experience on scripting/automation

  • Knowledge of Bash/Perl, SQL/PLSQL

  • Good knowledge of Linux System Administration

  • Experience with virtual machine and virtualization (VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V)

  • Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP)

  • Good knowledge of one scripting language (Shell/ Perl/ python)

  • Basic knowledge of programming languages (C / C++ / C# / Java)

  • Advanced English knowledge (both written and spoken)

  • Good teamwork skills
