Role Summary/Purpose

GE is looking for a Marketing Manager to join its emerging industrial inspections business team. As an integral member of the marketing team, the Marketing Manager will take responsibility for working with the marketing, business development, and sales teams to attract potential customers for the business.

Essential Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for supporting the Marketing activities, specifically coordinating marketing efforts including developing marketing and sales tools, conducting market analysis, obtaining competitive intelligence, and assisting in targeted sales programs.

  • Get a deep understanding of GE’s product offering and product strategy for industrial inspection marketplace

  • Drive the development of sales collateral including presentations to be used in customer sales meetings, and templated content for use in sales kits

  • Partner with marketing leadership to develop storyboards and user flows, as well as write copy for digital assets including Web sites and videos

  • Work with external resources/partners/agencies (including other GE business units) to contribute to integrated customer solutions

  • Contribute to digital library of creative assets

  • Manage owned media campaigns, including natural search

  • Work with team leaders to draft case studies and white papers

  • Identify and collate published evidence to support Inspection’s value proposition

Qualifications/Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required, ideally in marketing, business or related field

  • 8+ years of experience marketing software & hardware technology products and solutions

  • Experience in design tools, including PhotoShop

Desired Characteristics

  • Knowledge of enterprise software, analytics and sensor/monitoring technologies would be extremely helpful

  • Experience in project management and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives

  • Experience working for a start-up company or environment developing and launching a new product
