Partnering closely with the Commercial Leadership, Commercial CIO’s, and key stakeholders (Sales Leaders, Field Sales Organization) to create a single vision for the Digital Tools that the Sales Managers will utilize in the near future. The challenge for the Global Product Manager
Sales Manager Tools will be to partner closely with the GPM- Field Sales Tools, along with the Commercial Council, and the Commercial Digital Thread Working Teams and IT/Technology to deliver an upgraded CRM in January 2018 that is so valuable that it will be the first place that the Sales Management team logs into each morning. The successful candidate will have a strong working knowledge of key Fastworks principles and Agile methodologies, and will utilize these toolkits to enable the vision for the Sales Management Leader of the future.
Defining, developing and executing the Corporate strategy around New Digital Tool Products and Upgraded CRM Solution Implementation, and a go to market strategy to achieve Digital Tool ROI objectives centered around New Revenue Growth and Productivity. New Digital Tool Product Investment decisions should consider GE’s investment in building the largest operating system for the Industrial Internet- Predix.
The successful candidate will partner closely with the Commercial CIO and team to identify world-class technology partners, and emerging technologies to fill Digital Tool product gaps critical to enhancing Sales Management Productivity and Revenue Generation. (Reference: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Sales Force.Com, Linked In, and other emerging Applications)
Creating and executing a strong Partnership Strategy that will enable the Sales Managers to do their jobs simpler, faster, and better than they could in 2017.
Develop Long-term Product Road-maps that will can serve as a working platform to enable Businesses to quickly and easily customize solutions for their Field Sales organizations. Successful candidates will work collaboratively with Technology and GE Digital to ensure Product Road-Maps are challenging, yet achievable to achieve active usage in January 2018.
Seeking a seasoned Business Leader who can make the appropriate tradeoffs and choices, balancing the need for compelling and differentiated technical Digital Tool product features with commercial investment choices
Responsible for leading Market Industry Research and analysis, competitive assessments, and customer/market segmentation to identify new Digital Tool growth platforms and opportunities
Seeking a strong, dynamic leader who can effectively lead diverse cross functional and cross-business teams, and making strategic decisions impacting the Digital Tool product line and programs .... delivering real solutions to our Field Sales community on a timely basis
Leader should be able to prioritize GE spending to address the Digital Tool product line's strategic needs
Successful candidates will have a deep domain expertise in sales and sales leadership, combined with a technical acumen and digital curiosity. Key responsibility will be to have a strong, deep understanding of the needs of the Sales Leadership teams, and secure their involvement and participation in product investment decisions and roll-out plans. Deep knowledge of the Field Sales Function, (both Sales and Sales Leadership), including the current challenges and opportunities
Deep technical knowledge of Sales Force.Com, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Digital Tools to Enhance Sales Productivity, and the overall Software Industry
Speed is Critical: Successful Candidate will have a strong sense of urgency, and will think of what can be done in Days/Hours, not Weeks/Months to successfully deliver an upgraded CRM platform in January 2018
Agile/Flexible: Environment is constantly changing; candidate must be able to successfully navigate rapid and constant change.

Commercial acumen, and strong working knowledge of Digital Product Management

Significant experience leading both Technical and Commercial teams
Ability to create and execute a vision with multiple diverse stakeholders]
Product Management experience in the software industry or equivalent
Solid Field-Sales and Sales Leadership experience in a GE Business or equivalent
