Role Summary/Purpose

Work strategically to drive physical and systematic changes in the material flow process by deploying Lean / Six Sigma methodology.

Essential Responsibilities

 Material scheduling to support the repair/harvest operations.

 Harvest operation analysis: write up, inventory

 FOA tracking

 Logistics: system acceptance, parts shipping

 Overall ownership of material planning, ordering and availability

 Prevention of part shortages; expediting material during shortages

 Communication with suppliers regarding logistics, packaging, and planning; Supplier visits, as needed (internal and external)

 Execution of daily walks on the floor and the receiving dock to investigate and resolve material issues

 Coordination with production, engineering, sourcing on material-related issues

 Inventory management

 Components warehouse management

 Lean manufacturing initiatives and support

 Bi-lingual: ability to communicate in local language and English.

Qualifications/Requirements

 Bachelor degree and 3 years above experience in materials or production scheduling

 Computer proficiency

 Excellent interpersonal skills

 Proven ability to drive change initiatives in a matrix environment

 Ability to successfully motivate and maintain employee involvement while driving change
