Role Summary/Purpose

As Principal Enterprise Application Engineer, your role will be to leverage technology to impact the way we work today and in the future. You will be responsible for introducing new tools and concepts to drive productivity for our end users, to simplify the way they work.

Essential Responsibilities

You will be focused on driving concepts of modern UX, mobility, artificial intelligence, machine learning, advance analytics & Big Data, and the most contemporary technology available to accelerate the modernization of the company.

As the Principal Enterprise Application Engineer, you will:

  • Act as a change agent to identify, and leverage the most advance technology concepts and bring them into the ERP program

  • Implement a strategy to modernize the User Experience

  • Enable mobility within key business processes

  • Leverage tools like SAP FIORI or other mobile platforms to migrate desktop based processes over to the mobile platform

  • Develop the user stories and wire framework on how we can enable better end user functionalities

  • Understand and document the current end user challenges

  • Understand the gaps in the AS-IS vs TO-BE processes

  • Digitize these business processes and resolve the process gaps

  • Identify ways to drive global scale in the UX improvements

  • Drive an agile culture of rapid prototyping

  • Adopt the principles of Fastworks to prove / disprove concepts and expand on the ideas that have tangible business outcomes

  • Enable the culture of digital within the ERP teams and modernize the ERP ecosystem to enable next gen capabilities

  • Build bolt-on or bolt-in functionalities within SAP to drive end user productivity

  • Drive transformation of existing business processes and leverage break through technology to drive business outcomes

  • Introduce the latest in technology trends like virtual or augmented reality, real time analytics, voice recognition systems etc.

  • Identify ways of leveraging these trends into the ERP program to transform the workforce and enable innovation and simplification in the way we work

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in a “STEM” Major (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

  • Minimum of 15 years of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across product lines

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in driving UX and transformation programs

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in implementing complex, large scale SAP ERP implementation

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing mobile platforms at an enterprise level
