Role Summary/Purpose

The Services Global Training Leader will be responsible for all field services training related activities for both employees and customers, including delivering product, system and process training and providing ongoing support to ensure the standard and quality of field service execution. Has a contribution in the development of a business plan for Service as a whole. Is involved in discussions with other disciplines about future developments and consequences for Service

Essential Responsibilities

  • The Services Global Training Leader develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your understanding and experience to execute business objectives, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals

Lead training strategy development and execution

  • Coordinate all activities related to commercialization, sales and delivery in GE facilities ad at customer sites.

  • Lead globally all investment, staffing and other internal activities supporting Training growth and development

· Lead training program efforts across business

· Manage the placement, rotational assignments, assessment process and other administrative activities for assigned training program

· Identify, evaluate and audit rotational training program assignments for program across business

· Develop and implement required supplemental training, courses, and workshops for program members

· Lead new program member orientation

· Provide ongoing support, advice and counsel to training program members regarding all aspects of program

· Provide advice and counsel regarding career planning and assist with off-program placement

· Lead communication efforts and training program committees

· Assist with the recruiting and selection of co-ops, summer interns, etc


· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in a Training or Human Resources position).

· At least 3 additional years of Training experience

· Strong project management skills

· Prior Experience in training and facilitation is preferred

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

· Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization
